My thesis work involved a Double Degree: 1) Mathematical Engineering and 2) Master in Engineering Sciences, Mention in Applied Mathematics at Universidad de Chile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Projects<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently I&#8217;m working in two projects which are part of my thesis research. First, I&#8217;m working with solar twins in the GALAH-DR3 survey and using a data-driven generative machine learning algorithm in order to improve the precision of chemical abundances in the sample, to perform phylogenetic studies using phylogenetic trees on the solar neighbourhood that require high precision uncertainties, comparing the phylogenetic signal before and after applying our model. Second, I&#8217;m working in the implementation and developing of a new stochastic model of phylogenetic networks with the aim to study hydrodynamical simulated data of the formation formation of a spiral galaxy to recover the evolutionary history underlying in it and constrain the chemical evolution of the Milky Way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Highlights<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ve been Outstanding Student at Universidad de Chile in the years 2017,2019 and 2020 and I&#8217;ve been rewarded with ANID National Masters Degree Scholarship 2023. I&#8217;m currently working on a publication regarding my first project with ERIS, and I will be part of a future publication regarding the collaboration of my second project with ERIS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Extracurricular activities<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Outside research I mainly focus on two things I also enjoy, which are music and video games.
