Outside of UDP, I run an international observatory that belongs to the Carnegie Institution for Science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Projects<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>I study the first galaxies of the universe, their formation and evolution. This work is part of the cosmological and astrophysical context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Highlights<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Guggenheim Fellowship, DAAD Fellowship, Beca Presidente de la Rep\u00fablica.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Director at the Las Campanas Observatory<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Director of the Cielos de Chile and Altura Patrimonio foundations.
