My current work focuses on the millimeter, X-ray and ultraviolet (UV) emission from very luminous, nearby AGN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Projects<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>The millimeter and X-ray emission from the most rapidly accreting supermassive black holes: I am currently working with Prof. Claudio Ricci on the X-ray versus millimeter correlation for high bolometric luminosity AGN and I am using ALMA and Swift observations to investigate this relation. This will ultimately contribute to the understanding of the origin of the X-ray and millimeter emission and will further help investigate highly obscured AGN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Publications<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Venselaar et al. 2025 currently in preparation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Extracurricular activities<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>I enjoy creative things such as painting and ceramics. Furthermore, I like working out by dancing and I discovered hiking now that I live close to the beautiful nature of Chile.
