I will present\nALMA observations of this Hot DOG for the brightest far-IR\nfine-structure emission lines, as well as of their underlying dust\ncontinuum. A comparison of the data with a large grid of CLOUDY\nradiative transfer models reveals that the conditions of the\ninterstellar medium of the galaxy need to be extreme: high hydrogen\ndensity and extinction, together with intense ionization and a high\nX-ray to UV ratio, among the largest found in the literature. This (and\nfuture planned) work sheds light on the extreme conditions that galaxies\ncan experience during the early stages of the Universe, a piece of\ninformation that is critical to our understanding of how distant and\nyoung galaxies evolve.\n<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
9 de Marzo de 2024, 21:00 h<\/p>","protected":false},"featured_media":1051,"template":"","meta":{"_monsterinsights_skip_tracking":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_active":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_note":"","_monsterinsights_sitenote_category":0,"site-sidebar-layout":"default","site-content-layout":"default","ast-global-header-display":"","ast-banner-title-visibility":"","ast-main-header-display":"","ast-hfb-above-header-display":"","ast-hfb-below-header-display":"","ast-hfb-mobile-header-display":"","site-post-title":"","ast-breadcrumbs-content":"","ast-featured-img":"","footer-sml-layout":"","theme-transparent-header-meta":"","adv-header-id-meta":"","stick-header-meta":"","header-above-stick-meta":"","header-main-stick-meta":"","header-below-stick-meta":""},"event-category":[263],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/astronomia.udp.cl\/es\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/event\/4717"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/astronomia.udp.cl\/es\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/event"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/astronomia.udp.cl\/es\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/event"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/astronomia.udp.cl\/es\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/event\/4717\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/astronomia.udp.cl\/es\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/1051"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/astronomia.udp.cl\/es\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=4717"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"event-category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/astronomia.udp.cl\/es\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/event-category?post=4717"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
