antecedentes culturales, el g\u00e9nero y la disponibilidad de posibles directores de tesis. De hecho, nos enorgullece haber logrado el balance de g\u00e9nero en todos los niveles acad\u00e9micos y contar con aproximadamente un 80 % de investigadores internacionales en nuestro instituto.\u00a0<\/li><!-- \/wp:list-item --> <!-- wp:list-item --><li>Nuestro programa est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ado para permitir a los estudiantes desarrollar su proyecto de tesis desde el inicio de su doctorado a trav\u00e9s de proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n que les ayudan a adquirir habilidades y explorar temas de inter\u00e9s.\u00a0<\/li><!-- \/wp:list-item --> <!-- wp:list-item --><li>El ciclo inicial de tres semestres ofrece cursos adaptados a los intereses de los estudiantes, con el objetivo de profundizar sus conocimientos sobre los temas de investigaci\u00f3n y explorar diversos m\u00e9todos, en particular en lo que respecta a las t\u00e9cnicas de observaci\u00f3n y el an\u00e1lisis de datos.\u00a0<\/li><!-- \/wp:list-item --> <!-- wp:list-item --><li>Nuestros estudiantes dise\u00f1an su proyecto de tesis doctoral. Esto les permite trabajar en el tema que m\u00e1s les interesa y desarrollar r\u00e1pidamente habilidades sociales como la independencia, la proactividad y la planificaci\u00f3n. Se espera que los candidatos tengan un excelente expediente acad\u00e9mico en sus estudios previos, cierta experiencia en proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n y un alto nivel de motivaci\u00f3n para la investigaci\u00f3n independiente en astronom\u00eda. Los solicitantes tambi\u00e9n deben dominar el idioma ingl\u00e9s (la comprensi\u00f3n lectora es esencial, y la expresi\u00f3n oral y escrita es muy deseable), poder comprometerse a participar a tiempo completo en el programa de doctorado y trasladarse a Chile.<\/p>\n<p>Las convocatorias para presentar solicitudes se realizan una vez al a\u00f1o, al comienzo del segundo semestre, y los estudiantes seleccionados comienzan en marzo o en agosto del a\u00f1o siguiente.
