Confirmar si los cuerpos planetarios adquieren la misma composici\u00f3n de elementos refractarios que su disco natal durante su formaci\u00f3n y con qu\u00e9 eficiencia se incorporan los elementos vol\u00e1tiles a los planetas en crecimiento es clave para vincular la composici\u00f3n interior poco restringida de los exoplanetas rocosos con la composici\u00f3n observacionalmente restringida de su estrella anfitriona. Estas comparaciones tambi\u00e9n brindan informaci\u00f3n sobre el proceso de formaci\u00f3n planetaria. Comparamos la composici\u00f3n planetaria con la composici\u00f3n de la estrella anfitriona utilizando observaciones de enanas blancas que han acrecentado material planetario con sus compa\u00f1eras de la secuencia principal binaria ancha como referencia para la composici\u00f3n del gas y polvo molecular desde entonces han sido absorbidas por la V\u00eda L\u00e1ctea a trav\u00e9s de fusiones de galaxias, y 2) monitorearlas para buscar planetas gigantes en \u00f3rbita.
