PhD student Camilo Gonzalez gets a paper in ApJL!

+ - INVERSE COLORS

At the end of the last year, one of our students, Camilo González-Ruilova, published a deep study of an incredible system of two protoplanetary disks with apparent interaction. ALMA observations of ultra-high resolution (around 3 au or 30 mas) revealed a big protoplanetary disk formed by a large cavity and two non-axisymmetric rings, and near to it, a very small protoplanetary disk with hints of a cavity, and a connection of gas between both disks. This paper includes the participation of our professors Lucas Cieza and Alice Zurlo, and was published in the Astrophysical Journal Letters (ApJL).
