Undergraduate

We provide a special 3-semester programme called “Diploma en Astronomía” is focused to all undergraduate students of UDP who have special interest in a focused learning of general aspects of astronomy. The courses are:

•  El Sistema Solar y Búsqueda de Otros Mundos  (Roberto Assef)
•  Estrellas: Nacimiendo, Vida y Muerte en la Vía Láctea (Jose L. Prieto)
•  Una Breve Historia del Universo (Jose L. Prieto)

We also give a variety of General Astronomy courses for UDP, open to all students of the University. These  courses are:

• Astronomía moderna, una perspectiva cósmica (Manuel Aravena/Claudio Ricci)
• Origen, evolución y fin del universo: teoría e historia (Erika Labbé)
• Estrellas de la Vía Láctea (Paula Jofré)
• El Sistema Solar y la búsqueda de otros mundos (Lucas Cieza (B Learning)/Roberto Assef)

Since we are part of the Engineering and Sciences Faculty of UDP, we also teach dedicated courses to the Faculty of Engineering:

• Simulaciones (Alice Zurlo)
• Mecánica clásica (Thomas Maedler)
