Investigador posdoctoral
I am a Fondecyt Fellow at Universidad Diego Portales, working with the group of Prof. Roberto Assef. My research focuses on active galactic nuclei (AGN) and their evolution across cosmic time.
Proyectos
I use X-ray and multiwavelength observations, large astronomical catalogs, and statistical methods to study the physical properties and environments of AGN. A central part of my work explores how obscuration, variability, and transient phenomena shape the observed properties of AGN.
In addition, I investigate the host galaxies of obscured AGN using ALMA and optical/infrared data, tracing their evolution from the nearby Universe to high redshift.
Puntos destacados
- Published a paper showing how obscuration in AGN increases with redshift (link).
- Discovered the first ultra-fast inflow in an obscured AGN (link)
- Active member of the LSST, BASS, and AHA collaborations.
- Outstanding Graduate Research or Scholarship Award 2023-2024, University of Miami.
