I am a Fondecyt postdoctoral researcher working in the HEROES group under the supervision of Prof. Claudio Ricci. My current research focuses on multiphase outflows driven by AGN (ionized, molecular) and characterizing their host galaxies using SED models to investigate feedback effects.

Current position: Fondecyt postdoctoral fellow

  • Watercolor painting and sports – Serving as a mentor in the PROVOCA program, an AUI/NRAO initiative that aims to increase the participation, retention and promotion of women and other underrepresented minorities in STEM (https://nrao.cl/mentoras-provoca/)
  • I started the outreach project “Astroacuarela”, a watercolour workshop to teach astronomical topics using painting techniques (https://www.uantof.cl/prensa/astro-acuarela-une-la-astronomia-y-el-arte-para-las-personas-mayores/). This workshop has been given to seniors in the “Casas del Adulto Mayor de la Municipalidad de Antofagasta” and I plan to expand the activity to kids and general public.
