I am an Associate Professor at the IEA, currently Director of the astrophysics doctoral program and Director of the ERIS Millennium Nucleus. I study the evolution of the Milky Way by analyzing the chemical abundances of stars, and I am a member of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey V.

Current Position: Associate Professor and Director of PhD program at IEA

I study the evolution of the Milky Way by analyzing the chemical abundances of stars. I do this through measurements of chemical abundances with stellar spectrum analysis, and through the development of phylogenetic methods with these chemical abundances. My goal is to reconstruct the history of the Milky Way using this complex multidimensional space of galactic chemistry as fossil information. I really like interdisciplinary science.

Extracurricular activities

The more I manage to go to the pool to swim, the clearer my head gets and I organize my thoughts. I am constantly looking for opportunities to be outdoors, in nature, as I adore the singing of birds and discovering them. I am a mother of 2 boys who are faster than me on the bike, which makes me extremely proud. I love my friends, and I wish I had more time to read books.
