Current position: Former PhD student. Currently postdoctoral researcher at Perth

Projects

His research includes studying the morphology of [CII] in “ordinary” galaxies in the early universe, searching for Lyman-alpha emitters around a quasar at z=6.9 to resolve observational tensions regarding whether high-z quasars reside at the centers of protoclusters, and searching for ALMA cube data for Hot Dust Obscured Galaxies. Trystan has also achieved the first direct detection of a [CII] halo. Outside of his research, he enjoys playing chess, reading books, and having a beer.
