As a research group, we seek instances for enabling scientific discussion through sharing our projects.

At the beginning of each term, students are encouraged to share the results of their research projects with the group via presentations. This is important for acquiring soft skills, such as presenting and disseminating results. This also offers an opportunity for sharing our research interests in general, so other members can also present their ideas and seek collaborations within the Astronomy Nucleus.

On Monday 19th August 2019, we enjoyed an afternoon with talks, coffee and cake, and exchanged interesting ideas spanning from learning about planet formation to the properties of the early Universe.
