Investigador posdoctoral
I am a Joint UDP–USACH YEMS postdoctoral researcher working on the formation and characterization of young stellar and substellar objects. I aim to detect and characterize accreting protoplanets.
Proyectos
My research has focused on high-resolution infrared spectroscopy of young stellar objects, with an emphasis on measuring their magnetic fields and understanding how magnetism evolves during the earliest stages of stellar evolution. I also study protoplanetary disks, the environments where planets form, by characterizing their physical and kinematic properties with sub-mm observations. At UDP, I will work with Prof. Alice Zurlo to combine my expertise in spectroscopy, magnetism, and accretion with her expertise in high-contrast imaging to study accreting protoplanets.
