I am currently a PhD student working with Dr. Alice Zurlo as a part of the YEMS project.
Position: Ph.D. student
Projects
My PhD thesis aims to study young exoplanets and brown dwarf companions using high-contrast imaging (HCI) techniques, particularly through a SPHERE survey led by Prof. Zurlo. This survey targets 7 companions using star hopping for quasi-simultaneous model PSF acquisition. The primary goals include astrometric and photometric characterization of companions, improving orbit and spectral understanding, and detecting satellites/circumplanetary disks. Collaborating with Cristobal Donoso, I shall be developing an automatic code for data reduction and companion identification, adaptable to different instruments like JWST and e-ELT.My role involves data analysis, searching for satellites/disks, and coordinating follow-up observations.
