Alice Zurlo
Associate Professor
I am an astrophysicist, associate professor at Universidad Diego Portales (UDP, Chile), and director of the YEMS Nucleo Milenio. My main field of research is detecting and characterizing exoplanets via high-contrast imaging. My latest work focuses on the effect of multiplicity on planet formation, the accretion of protoplanets, and the close environment of protostars.
Projects
I work mainly on planet formation. This comprehends the study and characterization of exoplanets via high-contrast imaging, the study of their close surroundings (satellites and/or disks), and the analysis of protostars and protoplanetary disks. The common objective of all these projects is to investigate how and where planets form and evolve.
